Mushroom Walks
Conducted by Cathy Sharp who is a mycologist who has been studying mushrooms and fungi all her life. These are often hosted during the rainy season when the grass is tall and all the plants are green with plentiful leaf litter on the ground making for the perfect conditions for mushrooms to grow. You will encounter over 20 species on the walk.
Recording Of Biodiversity
At least twice a year the conservancy hosts a bioblitz in an effort to record the biodiversity within the Conservancy. Download the iNaturalist app so as to contribute towards recording the biodiversity within The Hillside Dams Conservancy.
