Contrary to many beliefs, both the lower and upper dam walls have been leaking for decades now. These dams are one of the first dams to be built in the whole of Zimbabwe and were for some time the main source of water for Bulawayo. Repairing the dam will cost $200 000 (USD). Seeing it full throughout the year is a dream we hope to achieve soon.
